The Military High Command of the Rebel Alliance is led by the Rebel Alliance Supreme Commander, assisted by a Minister of War, a military Chief of Staff, and the personnel of the Military High Command itself, each with responsibility for a distinct aspect of the Alliance military:

› Fleet Command (Fleet) — The Alliance's armada of combat warships, and attached support units that is overall commanded by the Chief of Fleet Operations.

› Starfighter Command (SFC) — Administrative oversight of starfighter forces and pilot training. SFC is a sub-division of Fleet with most of their orders coming from the Chief of Fleet Operations or the Supreme Commander.

› Logistics and Support Services (Logistics)— Supply ships, safe worlds, troop transport and hospital ships all fall under this division of the military led by the Chief Logistical Officer.

› Center for Rebel Intelligence (Intel)— Covert operations including espionage and sabotage of enemy assets are done by Intel.

› Armed Forces (Army)— The Alliance's ground troops including artillery and vehicles.

› Sector Command (SecCom)— Sector Commanders oversee local defense of their worlds during battle, and work with the locals to increase their economy and their efficiency among the other worlds of the Alliance.
